Loretta Wickenden, CEO and President, Co-Founder
Loretta has over 30 years experience in the financial industry, has held senior management positions in financial institutions and financial software companies, and is an internationally recognized expert in capital markets operations.
Prior to founding Latilla, Loretta was head of product management and product marketing at Infinity, a SunGard Company in Silicon Valley (a leading trading, risk management and operations system provider). During her career in the banking industry, Loretta held senior operations management roles at several major financial institutions, including head of derivative operations for Credit Suisse Financial Products in London and New York.
Having been involved in the derivatives industry since its introduction in the early 1980's Loretta has been instrumental in establishing highly productive teams, business processes, and controls that are necessary to support complex trading and risk management activities. This experience enables Latilla to provide operational consulting services to financial institutions around the globe, and guided the design of C4i ™, a web-enabled,operational risk management system designed to help institutions streamline activities, manage operational risks and increase efficiency.
Todd Rahmes, Chief Operating Officer, Co-Founder
Todd has extensive experience in joint venturing, licensing transactions and business development as well as operational and sales support roles, and is a key factor in ensuring the execution of Latilla's mission.
Todd previously headed up the combined legal group for seven financial services software companies under the SunGard umbrella. He gained his initial experience within the software industry as a corporate and technology licensing attorney for a nationally recognized Silicon Valley law firm, Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison, which has acted as chief outside counsel for many well-known technology companies, including Cisco Systems, as well as large financial institutions, such as Wells Fargo Bank. He is intimately familiar with sales pipelines, the sales process, and process management, and is a mature and proven executive who values customer relationships above all else
He holds a J. D. Cum Laude from the University of Michigan Law School, and a BA with a double major in German and Political Science, also from the University of Michigan.
Olisa Abaelu, SVP, Consulting Services
Olisa has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry and has held senior management positions in several financial institutions. He has well-developed skills in managing finance, middle office and back office functions and has detailed experience in the management of financial reporting, budgeting & expense control, as well as project planning and execution in large multinational institutions.
He is a hands-on problem solver with proven ability to drive processchange and motivate personnel, an effective communicator with proven abilities in fostering positive relationships at all levels and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Prior to Latilla he was 1st VP & Controller at Countrywide Capital Markets, Calabasas. He gained his management experience within the financial industry at Deloitte & Touche LLP, Zurich Financial Services and Aegon USA Financial Group.
Lawrence Waugh, VP Engineering
Lawrence received 2 BS degrees from MIT and his MS degree in Computer Science from Stanford University before beginning his career in software development and development management. He gained his industry experience working for several major enterprise software providers, working in both Development and Professional Services organizations.
Calavista (of which Lawrence is COO and co-founder) is providing development services to Latilla. Prior to founding Calavista Lawrence served as VP of Engineering for Aviri, Director of Technical Integration and Director of Professional Services for Agillion, Director of Content for pcOrder, and Senior Technical Manager for Trilogy Software.
Jim Wickenden, Business Development Manager
Jim has been in sales and marketing in the financial industry since 1985. A graduate of Santa Clara University, he is a natural leader with an ability to focus on strategic matters and the big picture. His qualifications as a meta-historian and commerical pilot give him a well rounded perspective that show his passion for detail, perseverance and goal-oriented drive. He is instrumental in the direction of Latilla's vision and his responsibilities cover marketing, partnerships, and sales.
